Restoring Missing and Broken Teeth in Victoria

Have you lost or damaged some of your teeth, or is one of your teeth causing you pain? Dr. Crapo & Associates are fully trained to perform restorative dentistry techniques to replace, repair, or treat your teeth. In addition to having many functional benefits, such as allowing you to chew and speak unhindered, dental restorations have cosmetic benefits.

Implants and Dentures

Missing teeth can make everyday activities like eating and smiling difficult or even painful. Dr. Crapo can provide you with several options to replace your missing teeth, such as full or partial dentures, which are a comfortable way to achieve a natural-looking smile. If you’re only missing one tooth, he can replace it with a dental implant, an artificial tooth so sturdy that it’ll last you a lifetime. Dr. Crapo can even give you the best of both worlds with implant-supported dentures as a replacement when all of your teeth are missing.

Inlays, Crowns, and Fillings

Dr. Crapo can repair cracked, decayed, and chipped teeth using a variety of functional and esthetic restorations. He can use inlays and onlays to repair molars and crowns to replace old caps. He can even replace discoloured or silver fillings with tooth-coloured composite fillings.

Root Canals

If your tooth is infected, often we can save it using root canal therapy and cap it with a crown to make it more solid.

Extractions

If one of your teeth can’t be saved or if your mouth is too crowded, we can extract it safely, efficiently, and without discomfort. Many patients find their surgical procedure to be very comfortable with intravenous (IV) sedation.

Periodontal Disease Treatments

Diseases that affect your gums can cause your teeth to fall out and lead to severe health problems. Our dentists know how to prevent, detect, and treat gum disease.

Proper dentures after 43 years

Changes to your mouth will change the way your denture fits, especially when a denture has been worn for many years, but you don’t have to live with loose-fitting dentures. Gary had been living with an ill-fitted denture since he was 18. By the time he turned 61, enough was enough. His wife put him in contact with our dental office, and we recommended that he consider using mini implants to stabilize his dentures. Gary finished his treatment on the day his testimonial was taken.

“The whole procedure was totally painless. There was no pain! I just had the work completed and it feels wonderful. I can’t describe the feeling of… what it feels like to speak without worrying about my denture slipping down. Everyone of the staff members are just very outgoing. They basically really care about you. They care about your comfort… The quality of my life has definitely improved!”
