How well children’s teeth are taken care of in their early years sets a strong pattern for their oral health in the future. At Dr. Crapo & Associates, we always keep an open dialogue with you to advise you responsibly about your child’s oral care. We know that nothing is more important to you than your child’s health.
Your Child’s First Trip to the Dentist
Children should visit the dentist as soon as their teeth start coming in. In fact, the American Dental Association recommends that infants visit the dentist within six months of the appearance of their first tooth or by their first birthday, whichever event come first. Even though baby teeth fall out naturally and our adult teeth grow in during our teenage years, visiting the dentist is still beneficial for children since tooth decay at any age can have adverse effects on their health.
At Dr. Crapo & Associates, we know how to make children feel comfortable. Contact us if your child’s baby teeth have started coming in, and we’ll make sure that visiting the dentist is always a positive experience.

Rediscovering the joys of eating
After learning about Dr. Crapo from another satisfied patient, Francis came in to see us, hoping to solve the pain he was experiencing in his bite. At first look, gum disease had taken hold, and his teeth were beyond help. Dr. Crapo recommended implants and implant-supported dentures.
“I couldn’t eat. Not even an apple! So something had to be done. After talking to Lou, I decided to come to Dr. Crapo. Dr. Crapo’s team… they have a plan. They do all things according to plan, no surprises. I really enjoy eating now. The whole experience of dental implants from Dr. Crapo really improved the quality of my life.”
